Current staff vacancies

From £40,000 per annum, depending on experience (Job Band 4)

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

This is a multifaceted and influential role within our College encompassing team management, strategic planning and budgeting. 

You are responsible for our team of approximately 30 Housekeeping staff, as well as student room allocation and licencing agreements, maintenance of College furnishings and health and safety and compliance in line with ANUK guidelines.

You will have previous experience of managing accommodation services using room booking and management systems, good planning and analytical skills and knowledge of health and safety best practice. You will need strong leadership skills and experience managing a large team. You will be competent in managing your own and others workload, with the ability to deal efficiently with demands and a good communicator. Financial literacy and experience with external contractors are also essential.

£35,000-38,000 per annum (Job Band 5)

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

51¸£ÀûÉç is a forward-thinking, women’s only College offering University of Cambridge students an outstanding academic, stimulating and supportive environment. This role is providing administrative support to the high-profile role of the Senior Tutor. It will include diary and email management, preparation of agendas, minutes and reports and any other correspondence. You will need to be confident with dealing internal and external requests and be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Experience in a highly organisational administrative role is essential, along with confident application of the Microsoft Suite.

£11,680 per annum, FTE £29,200 (Job Band 6) 

Part time 15 hours per week, flexible across 2 or 3 days per week, as per your preference. 

This role requires the accurate administration of the sales ledger and credit control function of our busy Finance department.  

You will be organised with a high level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience financial experience and sound knowledge of Excel is required.

£30,000-33,000 per annum (FTE £50,000-55,00), Job Band 2

12-month FTC 

Part time, 22.5 hours per week 

51¸£ÀûÉç is seeking a Head of Communications to lead and coordinate the planning and delivery of the College communications on a 12-month fixed-term contract.   

The post-holder will continue to develop the communications strategy for the College, working closely with department heads and other stakeholders on the content and approach of communications activities. They will then implement directly parts of the strategy and coordinate the input of others.  

You will have solid professional experience working with digital content for medium sized organisations, if possible in the higher education sector. They will have proven capability for strategic planning and delivery and experience of writing digital and hardcopy content and communications for specific audiences. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines, are a given, as are excellent interpersonal skills.
